ISIS reportedly shot down Russian jet in northern Syria

 A Russian fighter jet has been allegedly shot down by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the northern city of Raqqa.

Local activists reported that Russian warplanes conducted today several sorties against ISIS positions in the group’s de facto capital. According to pro-ISIS media accounts, the two pilots have been captured alive.
