Serbian army announces military exercise at base 'South'

SARAJEVO - A military exercise titled "Platinum Wolf 2014" will be held at the base "South" near Bujanovac next year, bringing together the U.S. Marine Corps, Ohio National Guard and armies of several countries from the region, top officials of the Serbian Armed Forces (VS) announced in Sarajevo on Wednesday. At a conference of chiefs of general staff of the U.S. - Adriatic Charter, Chief of the VS General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic with a delegation presented the capacities of the base "South" near Bujanovac, the VS published on its website. 

 Besides the chiefs of general staff of the member states of the U.S.-Adriatic Charter: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Croatia, Montenegro, the deputy commander of the U.S. European Command and deputy chief of the Slovenian Armed Forces General Staff are also attending the meeting in Sarajevo. On the sidelines of the meeting, Dikovic talked with Deputy Commander of the U.S. European Command Vice Admiral Charles Martoglio.
