Trajkovic hopes for successful ties between liaison officers

6/17/2013 4:41:00 PM
GRACANICA - MP of the United Serbian List in the Kosovo parliament Rada Trajkovic expressed the hope that liaison officers which assumed office in Belgrade and Pristina on Monday would cooperate well in the future. In an interview for Radio Gracanica, Trajkovic said that the task of liaison officers is not easy and added that she hopes cooperation would be successful.

Belgrade and Pristina installed their liaison officers on Monday at noon, and Dejan Pavicevic assumed office in the EU Office in Pristina and Ljuljzim Peci became part of the EU Mission in Belgrade. This is one of the results of negotiations between Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Kosovo Prime Minister Hasim Taci. Speaking about the Monday talks on telecommunications in Brussels, Trajkovic said that she can see no reason why there would be no Serbian operator in Kosovo-Metohija.

Trajkovic expressed the hope that the problem would be resolved soon because people in Kosovo-Metohija need a Serbian operator as this is one of the basic conditions for communication, Trajkovic said. Trajkovic also said that Serbia deserves to be granted the date for EU accession talks. Photo Tanjug/F. Kraincanic (archive)
