Heads of Kosovo districts in Serbian government

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Heads of five Kosovo districts will talk with Serbia's government officials about the Brussels agreement in Belgrade on Tuesday, Prizren District Chief Jovica Buduric announced.

The meeting scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in the Serbian government will focus on the agreement on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina that the Serbian and Kosovo prime ministers, Ivica Dacic and Hasim Taci respectively, initialed on April 19, Buduric told Tanjug. 

 The meeting will bring together heads of the Kosovo district Vladeta Kostic, the Kosovska Mitrovica district - Radenko Nedeljkovic, the Pec district - Vinko Radisavljevic, the Kosovo Morava River Basin district -Srdan Mitrovic, and Buduric. The previous meeting of the north Kosovo Serb officials in the Serbian government was held on April 30, and ended without an agreement on the implementation of the Brussels deal. 

 The Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija oppose the implementation of the agreement, claiming that it would mean their integration into the Kosovo institutions, which ethnic Albanians formed in the southern Serbian province following the forceful secession. Photo Tanjug, M. Jelesijevic
