Djokovic beats Goffin in Roland Garros first round

5/28/2013 9:32:00 PM PARIS - World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic scored a successful start at the Roland Garros Grand Slam as he defeated Belgium's David Goffin in the Tuesday match, 3-0 (7-5, 6-4, 7-5).

The first duel between Djokovic and Goffin was marked by interesting game and Djokovic had to invest a lot of effort in order to score a victory over the 57th player on the ATP list. Goffin showed good game in spite of the fact that he crossed rackets with world's top-ranked player, and the Serbian player had to spend a lot of time and energy in the search for a winning formula that would see him through to the second round.

The Serbian player will cross rackets with the winner of the match between Croatia's Ivan Dodig and Guido Pella of Argentina.
