Dacic on several-day visit to United States

5/9/2013 3:37:00 PM BELGRADE - Serbia's Prime Minister Ivica Dacic will Thursday start his several-day visit to the United States of America, where he will meet with representatives of the world's major IT companies.

The purpose of the visit is to present the possibilities of Serbia's IT sector and establish cooperation with major US IT companies in order for Serbia to become regional center for development of information technologies, the Serbian government's office for media relations released in a statement. While in Seattle, Prime Minister Dacic will confer with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and sign central end-user license agreement and an agreement on servicing of computer software to be used by the state administration in Serbia. 

 Dacic will also visit San Francisco and meet with the management of Intel, the world's largest chip maker company. The Serbian prime minister will also confer with the management of Cisco, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Amazon, Oracle, Apple and Google Enterprise.
