Serbia's construction companies at MosBuild 2013

BELGRADE - At the largest construction exhibition in Russia that opens in Moscow on Tuesday, Serbia's national stand will showcase 14 companies which hope to secure a job in building infrastructure for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) is organizing for the fifth time in a row the promotion of Serbian companies at the biggest and most influential expo in Russia in the sector of construction industry- MosBuild 2013, which will be held until April 5. Serbia's stand will again be in the Forum, the most vibrant part of the pavilion, in which next to the national stands of Germany and Belgium, the leading construction companies are also presenting their services- Bayer, Mapei, Ursa, Saint-Gobain, SIEPA announced. Fourteen companies will offer their products and services at the Serbian national stand: Antic Kosta, Bugi Enterijeri Plus, Cini Invest, Cores System, NIP Spasic, Energotehnika Juzna Backa, Polymers Group, Simi, FGM Marko Todorovic Matox, EL-MET Sistem, Stucco Italiano, Unipromet, Pitura and Izolir. With an exhibition space of over 145,000 square meters and 100,000 visitors from the sector of building and interior design, MosBuild is one of the world's top five trade exhibitions. 

In 2012, 2,298 companies from 45 countries exhibited at this event. In light of preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, major infrastructure projects have been planned in all 13 cities that have been recommended for the tournament, and the Russian government will earmark EUR 4-5 billion every year for big investment projects. It is expected that the investment activity would reach its peak in the period from 2014 to 2018.
