Two more months in detention for Fatmir Ljimaj

PRISTINA - EULEX judge Malcolm Simmons decided to extend for another two months the detention sentence for Fatmir Ljimaj, Naser Krasnici, Naser Salja and Nedzmi Krasnici who are charged with war crime committed against civilians in Klecka in March 1999.

The Pristina District Court placed the four detainees in court detention for one month and declared that the evidence provided by 'protected witness X' Agim Zogaj is valid and acceptable, as well as the evidence discovered during the search of the houses of Naser Krasnici and Fatmir Ljimaj.

The Pristina District Court Trial Chamber decided to extend for another two months the detention for four suspects in the Klecka case on December 21. At the first trial, the Court divided the Klecka case into two proceedings and two rulings were passed. At that point, the Court declared the evidence provided by Zogaj is unacceptable and released all suspects by the two rulings. Photo Tanjug, BOKI
