Dialogue - way to resolve all issues in region

PRISTINA – Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga has said that Kosovo is committed to the dialogue as the only way to achieve the normalization of relations and resolve all issues in the region.
There is no alternative to this way. We believe that the time of hegemony, and the time when political concepts were imposed by force is over. Only as free and equal, we can go forward, Jahjaga said at the opening of the Germia Hill conference on Thursday.

The Republic of Kosovo has now started the dialogue with the Republic of Serbia, facilitated by the EU and strongly supported by the US, which would end in the normalization of relations between the two independent and sovereign states with the respect for the territorial integrity and principle of the unchangeability of borders, remedying the consequences of the war, Jahjaga said.

At the opening of the conference, which was organized by the Kosovo Foreign Ministry and the European Council on Foreign Relations, the keynote speakers were Kosovo Foreign Minister Enver Hodzaj and EU Special Representative in Kosovo Samuel Zbogar. Apart from politicians and analysts from Kosovo, the conference is also bringing together representatives of international organizations.
