Toner: Roadblocks and support should go

WASHINGTON - The United States strongly condemns the violence against KFOR and EULEX in which two members of KFOR got wounded and calls for an immediate removal of the roadblocks in the north of Kosovo, State Department spokesman Mark Toner has said.

In a statement delivered to Tanjug, Toner said that the U.S. urged the Serbian government to stop the financial support of the “illegal parallel” institutions in Kosovo and of the "hardline" policy.

The State Department spokesman said that the U.S. provided full support to KFOR and EULEX in maintaining a safe secure environment and ensuring free movement of people and goods in Kosovo and in both directions over the Kosovo-Serbian crossings.
