Cavic wins gold, Lendjer misses out on bronze

DEBRECEN - Serbia's best swimmer Milorad Cavic won the gold medal in 100 m butterfly at the European Championship in Debrecen, while Ivan Lendjer finished 4th.

Cavic won the title by finishing in 51.45, which is his season's best.

Ivan Lendjer swam excellently and was 3rd for most of the race, but ended up 4th at the finish line with a time of 52.54.

Hungary's Laszlo Cseh was 2nd with a time of 51.77, while Italy's Matteo Rivolta won the bronze with 52.40.
