Organized crime knows no borders

ZLATIBOR - Serbia's Interior Minister Ivica Dacic signed with his colleagues from Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ivan Brajovic and Sadik Ahmetovic, on Sunday a joint statement on strengthening cooperation in the battle against terrorism and organized crime and in efforts to improve border security and exchange experience related to EU integration. After the trilateral meeting in Zlatibor, Dacic stated that organized crime knew no borders, adding that police cooperation in that field was imperative in modern times. The cooperation between interior ministries in the region is extremely good, much better than political, he remarked. Brajovic said the act established a good practice in exchanging necessary experience. This type of cooperation has to be continuous, Ahmetovic pointed out, underlining that Bosnia-Herzegovina was working on a document to tackle the terrorism issue and serve as the basis in approaching the problem.
