Hoti: Mitrovica shot aims causing general danger

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Regional spokesperson of Kosovo police Besim Hoti confirmed Monday that an unidentified person fired a shot near the main bridge over the Ibar River in northern Kosovska Mitrovica. The shot, most likely a ricochet, hit late Sunday the office of the Serbian-Slovenian Solidarity Association in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, leaving no one injured. The shot heard around 11:15 pm damaged a window on the office located close to the main bridge across the Ibar. Hoti said in a statement for Tanjug that the scene was inspected by the Kosovo police, and that the public prosecutor qualified the case as causing general danger and damaging of property. The police spokesperson confirmed that nobody was injured and that the perpetrator and the motive of this incident are still unknown.
