Belgrade Calling festival to be held end of June

BELGRADE - Belgrade is to get richer by yet another great music festival in late June.
The festival, called Belgrade Calling, will be held at Usce on June 27-29.

The festival will see the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Jessie J, Faith No More, Public Enemy, The Sisters of Mercy, Public Image Limited, the organizer has said.

The Avalon Production company has decided to extend the concert of Ozzy Osbourne and Friends ft. Slash, announced previously for June 28, to a three-day festival with an impressive list of performers.

The event will be opened by S.A.R.S., the only local band to perform at the festival.

The list of great bands to perform includes The Cult, Black Label Society, Public Enemy, Paradise Lost, Ugly Kid Joe, The Horrors, The Darkness, Example, Sanatorium, Satirikon and a surprise act.

Coming to Belgrade for the first time will be Public Image Limited, led by legendary Johnny Rotten.

The festival will be closed by The Sisters of Mercy.

Tickets for the second day of the festival are already on sale, at prices of RSD 2,990 (Pit 1), 3990 (Pit 2) and RSD 4,500 (Golden Circle), and tickets for the remaining two days will be available from April 9.

Single ticket price for the first day is RSD 3,490, RSD 3,990 for day three.

Also on sale will be a two-day ticket for June 28 and 29, at a cost of RSD 5,990, while the complete set will cost RSD 7,990.
